It started over lunch.
I was out with my brother in a part of town neither of us knew very well. He said something simple:
"I'd love a good chicken parm grinder right now. I just wish there was a way to find one."
That got me thinking.
We've all been there. You're not craving a restaurant — you're craving a specific dish. But most food apps make you search for restaurants and hope what you're craving is somewhere on the menu.
I couldn't shake the idea.
A few months later, I started researching how to build something different. That's how CraveMap was born.
The concept is simple: Search for the dish you're craving, see ratings from real people, and find out exactly where to get it nearby.
No paid restaurant placements. No buying better rankings. Just real food, real experiences, and honest reviews.
Here's the funny part: I'd never built anything like this before.
I'm not a software developer. I'm an Army veteran, a husband, and a father who had an idea he couldn't stop thinking about. What started as a side project became something I genuinely believe could change the way people discover food.
And I want CraveMap to work everywhere, for every craving.
We're still at the beginning, and that's where you come in.
Every dish added, every photo shared, and every honest review helps the next person find exactly what they're craving.
I also know CraveMap isn't perfect yet. If something could work better, or you have an idea that would make the experience better, I want to hear it.
Send your suggestions to info@thecravemap.com. I read every message, and your feedback will help shape what CraveMap becomes.
Thanks for being part of the journey.
